The Merrimack Valley Montessori School provides three different programs to try to fit the requirements of all its students. The programs are designed to meet the social and intellectual developmental needs of children during the time that they are with us.

All programs run during a morning session 8:45a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session 12:15p.m. - 3:00p.m.

Five Day Program

A Montessori program of five half days, morning or afternoon, Monday through Friday. The program is offered to all children ages two years nine months to six years.

Three Day Program

A Montessori program similar to the five day program except attendance is only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This program is designed exclusively for three year olds. Four year old children or children returning for their second year are not eligible for the three day program.

Kindergarten Program Option 1

This option is available to all kindergarten age children. Children attend their regular half day Montessori class on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and attend all day on Mondays and Fridays. During the full day sessions the children spend half of the day with their regular class and the other half day with just the kindergarten children engaged in more advanced projects and activities. 

Kindergarten Program Option 2

Full Day Five Day Program

Children attend 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM every day. Mondays and Fridays include the Kindergarten Program described above. The additional three half sessions are spent rotating into another Montessori classroom in the school.  This gives the children an opportunity to experience different content, teachers and friends.
